I have one pet peeve that I never thought would go away until finally a few weeks ago!!! You see when you are running to the potty, always usually waiting until the very last minute because there is something more important to do, and you lift the lid to find someone left you a pretty clogged site....UHG...FRUSTRATING!!!!!!! Then I have to run upstairs...well and hope I still have it in me to hold it!!! (I guess the people who bought this house were pretty smart in putting another toilet 20 feet away, unfortunatley we took that one out!!) Our toilet downstairs seemed to clog even if someone just looked at it. I have been complaining for years, but finally took a stand....no more will I unclog it! For the last few months it has been Chris's job! Well I am hear to tell you it finally got on his nerves! We have a brand new mother load suction toilet...Yee Haw! The only problem I have is that how powerful it is suppose to be! You see my husband was so proud that he had researched this toilet that he had to brag to the boys that it is so powerfull that it will flush down a bucket of golf balls! Oh my goodness how their eyes lit up and the brain was a thinking...hello did you really just tell them that???? Really, really Chris...let's just put the bucket of balls in their hands! Yes, I did pop in to say "...and NEVER do we want to try dumping golf balls in the toilet to see if every single one will flush!!!" I really hope I don't have to post a No Golf Balls Aloud post #2!!!! Wish me luck!

The Spring ICH!!

I am sooooo ready for SPRING! Today is beautiful, but yet still a bit chilly! I had to dust off my sunglasses this morning, but yet still de-ice my windsheild!! The boys and I raked the leaves....wait I should say I raked some leaves today! Conner is my biggest helper hauling the piles off! Corey pitched in a bit, Carson dug for worms, and Miss Cyauna ran for the trampoline the minute Corey was done sweeping it off! It is so nice to be outside and absorb the much needed Vitamin D! I by all means am not ready for swimsuit weather (am mentally not physically), but maybe this will give me the kick in the rear I need to get there!!! Rain rain stay away!!!

If I go just transfer brain waves to this blog it would be so much easier!!! There are so many things to say and so little time!!

I am definetly better at couponing and searching out the deals. So may blog may be turning more towards that...time will only tell.

There is one thing that I love right now and that is SWAGBUCKS!!! For a long time I kept seeing this pop up on different blogs and just kept writing it off. Well I am here to tell you that I finally decided to start using it in June as a trial and I am IMPRESSED! ...no not rich but impressed with the fact that I just do my normal routine on the computer and am now receiving rewards for doing it! It was slow going at first (just cause I wanted the points), but now that I don't really pay attention I am surprised by how fast my bucks add up!

This little girl definetly has a shoe fettish, except she doesn't want them on her feet!!!!

She constantly is crawling around with shoes, flip flops, heels, sandals, tennis shoes, whatever shoes are left out. She is so funny and pretty darn fast too!!! Pretty smart girl! Who needs to walk when you have cushioned hands. I guess we just need to invest in some knee pads and she is good to go!!!

He was okay with that under the conditions that he still got to open "3" presents!! He knows how to bargain!! ..oh and we will have to have a bowling party instead of a costume party because Halloween will be over when we are able to have it!

The Piano

I was so excited for today because I have been waiting forever to get our piano fixed so I can actually play a tune and hear all the notes. ......well not so lucky! Once the tuner finally got here (1/2 hour late) they dove into what was going to be the must disgusting thing ever!!! ...yes this piano was Chris's parents and it followed him to his bachelor pad, then to our first house, and now in our living room! Every now and then in our living room we would smell something but could not figure out what it was??? Well today solved the mystery...I hope!!!

Yes there were dead mice in our piano that has been sitting in our dwellings for the last 12 years!!! Skeletons and some bodies!! UGH UGH UGH!!! I am still grossed out!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have never seen a mouse in our current house and the piano never worked correctly when we moved it into our first house, so we think it is safe to assume that the mice were in there (dead) when we moved it from Chris's bachelor pad! I wanted them to torch the piano right there!!!

Yes so my excitement of having a fixed piano turned into a desperate rage of get that thing out of here!!! The mice completely ruined it. It would cost almost as much as a new one to fix it!!! ...oh yes it still sits in my living room (minus the mice! They were kind enough to remove those!) Of course the kids think this was pretty cool, luckily they were at school when this event happened, but they enjoy telling everyone we had mice in our piano!!

Anyone want a piano...I know where a free one is :)

The Nemo Pinata

Carson turned "4" June 28, 2009.

I have always wanted to make a pinata, but never felt like I would have time. I started early this time. I didn't want to pay $40 for a Nemo pinata and shipping since you just hit the thing and it shreds to pieces. so....I looked for info on the the net and this is how it turned out. It did take a week because it has to dry before each coat. It was fun though, and a little therapeutic for me. I want to do crafts so bad...but I just get frustrated because I always get interupted!

First you blow up your balloon...don't try to fill it up too full our you'll scare the crud out of your kids by popping it (been there done that!). It was at night, back door open and I swear echoed down the slu in the backyard!

Then the fun begins. Mix 2 cups water to 1 cup flour in a medium bowl, and cup several strips of newspaper (put the kids in charge of this one...needless to say they don't have to be perfect!!) Dip strips in mixture and then pull through you two fingers to get excess off. Spread over the entire balloon so none of it is visible. Let dry over night and repeat at least 3-5 times.

Then decorate. I painted it orange first. Then cut long strips of tissue paper and glue them on. Corey made the eyes and mouth. We cut the fins out of cardboard, taped and glued them on, and decorated them to match. Then cut a hole on top and add the goodies.i

The hardest part was figuring out how it would hang with out ripping or falling. Thanks to my dad who rigged it. He used plastic ties to support the body, and then we attached the rope.

It worked perfect and cost...well less than $5.

Summer has started....Knott's Berry Farm

Well I have lacked on posts, but I was gone for two weeks. Here are some pictures from California. First stop Knott's Berry Farm. The kids had tons of fun and got to play a lot of the carnival games with Grandma Jean. Everyone came home with stuffed animals.

Okay so only one interruption so far. By the time I got upstairs Chris had her back to sleep, wow this is a good night! Here are some more events I have been wanting to share. First pinewood derby overload. Corey made it to districts Yea!... well we thought. 60 cars and each race 4 times...uh ya it took all afternoon on a day that was already full of baseball a ward carnival and baseball again. So here are so pics form the busy, but fun day.

Corey is doing awesome at baseball. He scored the only run of the last game. He even gave pitching a try...but doesn't care to do it again...too much stress I guess!

I have been wanting to update this blog forever, but there just never is time!!!! How in the world did my mom do it with 6 kids, because my hands, legs, and whole body is not enough for 4!!! I feel like a bad friend not returning emails and well I had to give up on Facebook because it was just consuming all my extra time...yah...what's that!!!!

Tonight I got home from an Enrichment activity (planting flower baskets) and well to my surprise...all are in bed!!! What do I do with myself????????????????? Started by cleaning, well lets just say that is all I have done for the last week. If you have talked to me lately you know why. If not I will not mention why because you don't want to know why...really you don't!!!! ..But if you think you must I will explain in a more private environment so I myself it totally mordified over the situation!!!!!!

Anyways so here I sit thinking any second Cyauna is going to cry and then I am shut down...so yes I have to hurry!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jason came home from his Atlanta, Georgia mission the 27Th of December...ya two days after Christmas. We delayed our family Christmas so we could spend it with him! He looked so different I only recognized him at the airport because he was walking with David!

Cyauna got to meet her Uncle, and Carson is now reacquainted. We love him so much and are glad to have him home! I know he blessed and changed many lives.
I love to hear is stories! We are working on getting him to BYU Idaho...he doesn't want to go there because he doesn't want to end up getting married right away!!! (smart) He is an eligible bachelor!!!

As you have noticed I haven't added much lately. Work has swallowed up any spare time I might have had:) We had an awsome Christmas and a wonderful reuniting with my brother who has been gone for about 2 years on his mission (21 days after Christmas)! I am gonna try to get you update with pictures! I have tons! Kids are great! Cyauna is almost 6 months:( Time is going way to fast!!!!

We decorated our Christmas tree this last weekend. It is a 2 day process and I was happy that Chris and the boys decided to start the first day of setup while I was outside on hanging light duty. The 12 foot tree is not fun to put together!!!! It looks pretty once its up. We have to put it up right after Thanksgiving so it is up long enough to enjoy it and not just think about how much of a pain it is to put artificial trees together!

I'm am so excited! Christmas is in the air! Last season is such a blur because I was literally in bed the whole time or had my head over the potty dealing with pregnancy sickness! It was worth it though for my sweet Cyauna. 22 days and counting!

Conner Nov. 3rd before election day: "Mom who are you voting for? The white haired guy or the brown face guy? I voted for the white haired guy and so did 14 others in my class!"

Conner again Nov. 3rd: Running around the family room in circles...."Mom why do you have to run to be president?"

Conner: "Mom where are your scripture powers?" (Referring to scriptures, we were learning Scripture Power song in Primary.)

Conner: After I had made taco soup... "Nasty...I am not trying that it looks
terrible"

Conner: at the grocery store with a full cart of groceries..."Mom you sure you have money for all this?"

Carson: Looking through his Halloween candy referring to a kit kat... "I want one of those with the two pieces you know the ones that you have to break apart like this one, two"

Corey: "Mom can you buy me a webkinz?" I said "Sorry Corey I don't have money right now, mommy's not working." He said "just put it on the card"

I finally bit the bullet and chopped my hair! I have been wanting to and then chickening out. I have had my hair short before, but did it gradually. Not this time "just wack it". My hairdresser Penny kept asking "are you sure?" Okay the weirdest thing of it all is my sister had a dream that I had chopped my hair and colored it dark. I knew nothing of this until I went to get it done. My hairdresser and her are friends. Penny said "her dream came true...doo do doo do". I did go darker, but not as dark as in the dream I guess. Still weird! Here is a peak. I want to take more pictures, but I have been enjoying not having to go anywhere while not working so I haven't done it up much:) That will change soon since I go back to work in less than 2 weeks :(

Cyauna is our long awaited baby girl. She is the best baby (knock on wood). The boys adore her and love trying to get her to coo and smile.

Cyauna was in a hurry to enter this world. She was sending signs all day Monday, but after a doctors appointment that morning showing that there was no change in her position from last week, I didn't take the signs too seriously!

After Chris asked several times if we should go to the hospital, I finally decided we might as well! As soon as he had walked back in the door from placing my bags in the car, my water broke. I then got a little nervous thinking, uh ya she is coming! The race was on. We dropped the boys off at my mom's basically opening the car door and saying run inside. This of course was a little stressful for Corey!

After enduring what felt like a very bumpy forever drive (maybe 7 minutes) We arrived at the hospital at 6:35. At last I thought I might get some relief...oh no! I was rushed into a room where I could barely get my gown on. With no time to wait for the doctor,or pain medicine, the nurse delivered her at 6:50pm. I was in shock for probably about an hour after taking in what had happened so quickly.

Carson was not so sure at first of his new baby sister, but finally held her yesterday and loves to give her kisses. The boys adore here and fight over who's turn it is to hold her!
